About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping the store running smoothly. You will be responsible for the flow of goods from the moment they arrive to the moment they reach the customer. This position ensures that the warehouse and sales floor remain organized, fully stocked, and ready for business.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role is stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure products are visible and accessible. You will also perform inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, extensive stocking, and preparing the store for opening the next day. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks to move merchandise efficiently.
