About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational backbone of the store. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for ensuring that the store is well-stocked, organized, and ready for customers. This position is essential for keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized, particularly, the sales floor running smoothly.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, which may include unloading trucks and organizing inventory in the stockroom. You will also stock shelves, build product displays, and perform inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of the role.
Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. The position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks.
