Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

As a Receiver/Stocker at Tractor Supply Co., you play a vital role in keeping our stores running smoothly and ensuring our customers have access to the products they need. You will be responsible for unloading freight, organizing warehouse inventory, and stocking shelves to maintain a well-organized store and stockroom. Your work directly supports the customer experience by ensuring merchandise is available and ready for purchase.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and customer interaction. You will unload incoming freight and organize inventory in the warehouse. A key part of your role is assisting customers with loading heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, ensuring they have what they need to take their purchases home. You will also build merchandise displays and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Maintaining a clean and organized environment is essential to your daily tasks.

Overnight Stocking

For those interested in overnight shifts, the focus is on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day. This role. Overnight stockers help ensure the store is ready for business when it opens, contributing to a seamless start for both staff and customers.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays $14–$18 per hour. Benefits may include employee discounts, health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and tuition assistance programs. Overnight shifts may include an additional $1–$3 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
