About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products flow smoothly from the truck to the shelf. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by maintaining a well-stocked and tidy sales floor and warehouse.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure items are visible and accessible. You will also perform inventory counts and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized.

Overnight shifts offer a unique perspective on store operations, focusing on large shipments and preparing the store for the next day. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are essential.
