Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing stock, and ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked and visually appealing.

This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and organization that Ace Hardware is known for. You will work closely with the team to ensure products are available for our customers and that our backroom operations run smoothly.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, building product displays, and maintaining product displays, and performing inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is floor organized is a key part of your daily routine.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus is on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for the bulk of the stocking, and preparing the store for the next day's opening. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks, items and operating equipment such as pallet jacks.

In addition to base pay, overnight stocking shifts may include an additional overnight pay differential depending on location. We also offer possible monthly performance bonuses depending on store performance.
