Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receivers and Stockers to join our team. This position is essential to maintaining an organized and well-stocked store environment, ensuring that merchandise is available for our customers and that our back-of-house operations run smoothly.

Day in the Life

As a Receiver or Stocker, your primary focus will be on the physical handling and organization of store inventory. You will be responsible for unloading freight, organizing warehouse inventory, and stocking shelves. A key part of your role involves building merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience. You will also assist with inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

Customer service is a vital component of this position. You will help customers load heavy merchandise, bulky items such as feed or equipment, providing assistance with equipment. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized store and stockroom, organized store and stockroom to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Overnight Stocking

For those interested in overnight shifts, the role focuses specifically on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day's business day. This allows the store to be ready for customers when they arrive in the morning.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays between $14 and $18 per hour. Overnight shifts may include an additional $1 to $3 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
