About the Role
Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receivers and Stockers to join our team. This position is essential to maintaining a well-organized store and stockroom, ensuring that merchandise is available for our customers. The role involves a mix of physical labor, inventory management, and customer service, focusing on keeping the store ready for the next day's business.
Day in the Life
As a Receiver or Stocker, your day begins with unloading freight and organizing warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and building merchandise displays to ensure products are presented attractively and accessibly. A key part of your role involves assisting customers with loading heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, providing hands-on support to ensure a positive shopping experience.
You will also assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and help maintain a clean and organized store and stockroom environment. For those working overnight shifts, the focus is primarily on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the following day's operations.
