About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you will be responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products flow smoothly from the truck to the shelf. This position is essential for maintaining an efficient warehouse and sales floor, allowing the store to operate at peak performance.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure the sales floor is attractive and well-stocked. You will also perform inventory counts and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized and floor tidy and safe.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next day. This involves extensive stocking and organizing to ensure the store opens ready for business. The role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks, items and using equipment like pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important.
