About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational flow of the store. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for ensuring that inventory is received, organized, and ready for customers. This position is essential for keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized, sales floor stocked and presentable, particularly during overnight shifts which focus on large shipments and preparing the store for opening.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for receiving shipments and unloading trucks, which may require lifting heavy items. items and operating pallet jacks. Once items are received, you will organize inventory in the stockroom and stock shelves. Building product displays and performing inventory counts are also key parts of the role. Throughout the shift, you will keep the warehouse and sales floor organized to ensure a smooth shopping experience for customers.
