About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency of our store. This position is responsible for ensuring that inventory is received, organized, and available for customers. The role involves a mix of warehouse management and sales floor support, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in the stockroom. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, building product displays, and performing inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of the daily routine.
Overnight shifts focus on handling large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. This position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks. Overnight stocking shifts may include an additional $1–$2 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
