About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity of our retail environment. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the critical flow of goods from delivery to display, ensuring that our shelves are stocked and our customers have access to the products they need. This position is essential for keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized, if applicable, the overnight stockroom running smoothly.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, which may include unloading trucks and organizing inventory in the stockroom. You will also be tasked with stocking shelves, building product displays, and maintaining product displays, and performing regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of your daily routine.

Shift Details

This position typically operates on overnight shifts, which focus on handling large shipments, restocking the store, and preparing the location for opening the next day. The overnight schedule is designed to minimize disruption to daytime customers while ensuring the store is fully prepared for business.

Physical Requirements

Please note that this position may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks. Candidates must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including moving inventory and managing stockroom logistics.
