Day in the Life
As a Receiver or Stocker, your primary focus will be on the flow of goods within the store. You will unload freight, organize warehouse inventory, and stock shelves efficiently. A key part of the role involves building merchandise displays to attract customers and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Customer interaction is a vital component of this position. You will help customers load heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Additionally, you are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store and stockroom, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and shoppers.
Overnight Opportunities
For those interested in overnight shifts, the role focuses specifically on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day. This schedule offers a unique perspective on store operations and may include an additional pay differential depending on the location.
