Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing stock, and ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked and visually appealing.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical activity, organization, and working behind the scenes to support the team and customers. Whether you are processing large overnight shipments or maintaining the store during the day, your attention to detail ensures that products are available and presented correctly.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of warehouse and floor duties. You will receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and condition of goods. You will then organize inventory in the stockroom and stock shelves efficiently. Building product displays and performing inventory counts are also key parts of the role. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor clean and organized is essential to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus is on large shipments, extensive stocking, and preparing the store for the store for the next day's opening. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and safety awareness are important.
