Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receivers and Stockers to join our team. This position is essential for maintaining the operational excellence of our stores, ensuring that merchandise is available for our customers and that our facilities remain organized and safe.

Day in the Life

As a Receiver or Stocker, you will play a hands-on role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading freight, organizing warehouse inventory, and stocking shelves to ensure products are readily available for customers. You will also build merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

A key aspect of this role is customer service. You will help customers load heavy merchandise, bulky items such as feed or equipment, providing assistance with equipment. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized store and stockroom, organized environment in both the sales floor and the stockroom, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Overnight Opportunities

For those interested in overnight shifts, the role focuses heavily on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day's business day. This allows for a quieter environment to complete logistical tasks efficiently before the store opens to the public.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays between $14 and $18 per hour. For overnight stockers, there may be an additional pay differential of $1 to $3 per hour, depending on the location.
