About the Role
Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receiver/Stocker team members to join our store operations. This position is essential for maintaining the flow of merchandise and ensuring the store is ready for customers. Stockers and Receivers play a dual role in both warehouse management and customer service, bridging the gap between inventory logistics and the sales floor.
Day in the Life
As a Receiver/Stocker, your day involves unloading freight and organizing warehouse inventory with precision. You will be responsible for stocking shelves and building merchandise displays to ensure products are visible and accessible. A key part of your role is assisting customers with loading heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, providing support with equipment.
In addition to stocking duties, you will assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean and organized store and stockroom. For overnight stockers, the focus shifts to preparing the store for the next day. This involves stocking, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store is fully prepared for the following day's operations.
