About the Role
Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receiver/Stocker team members to join our store operations. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of inventory management and customer service that define our brand. As a Receiver/Stocker, you play a critical role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked, organized, and ready to serve our customers with the products they need for their farms, homes, and hobbies.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a variety of hands-on tasks designed to keep our store running smoothly. You will be responsible for unloading freight and organizing warehouse inventory, ensuring that all merchandise is stored correctly and efficiently. A key part of your role involves stocking shelves and building attractive merchandise displays that help customers find what they are looking for.
In addition to inventory management, you will assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. Customer interaction is also a vital component of this role; you will help customers load heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, ensuring they have a positive and helpful experience. Maintaining a clean and organized store and stockroom is an ongoing priority, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.
Overnight Stocking Opportunities
For those interested in overnight shifts, this role offers a unique opportunity to focus on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day's operations. Overnight stockers play a crucial role in ensuring the store is fully prepared and ready for customers when it opens. This position typically pays $14–$18 per hour, and overnight shifts may include an additional $1–$3 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
