About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products arrive safely and are placed correctly on the sales floor. This position is essential for maintaining an efficient workflow and providing a positive shopping experience for our community.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure items are visible and accessible. You will also perform inventory counts and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next morning. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important.
