About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational efficiency and visual appeal of our retail environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that the store is well-stocked, organized, and ready for customers. The role involves a mix of warehouse management and sales floor support, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Receiver, your day typically involves receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory in the stockroom. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, building product displays, and performing inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of the daily routine.
Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. This position may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks, so physical fitness and safety awareness are important.
