Receiver/Stocker

About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you will be responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products arrive, are stored correctly, and are available on the sales floor. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and organization that our customers expect.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. You will also stock shelves, build product displays, and perform inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is floor organized is a key part of your daily routine.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus will be on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for the bulk of the stocking, and preparing the store for the next day's opening. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks, items and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important.
