About the Role
Tractor Supply Co. is seeking dedicated Receivers and Stockers to join our team. This position is essential to maintaining a well-organized store and stockroom, ensuring that merchandise is available for our customers. The role involves a mix of physical labor, inventory management, and customer service, providing a dynamic environment for those who enjoy staying active and helping others.
Day in the Life
As a Receiver or Stocker, your primary focus will be on the logistical backbone of the store. You will unload freight, organize warehouse inventory, and track inventory, and stock shelves to ensure product availability. A key part of the role involves building merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, you will assist customers with loading heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, providing equipment, ensuring they leave with what they need safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized store and stockroom is an ongoing priority throughout your shift.
For those interested in overnight shifts, the focus shifts to preparing the store for the next day. Overnight Stockers the following day. This involves stocking, organizing inventory, and ensuring the store is ready for morning operations. Overnight positions may include an additional pay differential depending on location.
