About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores running smoothly and our shelves fully stocked. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products move efficiently from the truck to the sales floor. Your work directly impacts the customer experience by maintaining an organized, well-stocked environment that invites shoppers to browse and buy.

Day in the Life

Your day involves a dynamic mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, which may include unloading trucks and organizing inventory in the stockroom. You will also stock shelves, build product displays, and perform inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is a key part of your daily routine.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next day. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are essential.

We offer a competitive compensation package, typically ranging from $16 to $20 per hour. Overnight stocking shifts may include an additional $1–$2 per hour overnight pay differential, depending on location.
