About the Role
As a Receiver/Stocker at Tractor Supply Co., you play a vital role in keeping our stores running smoothly and our shelves stocked for our customers. You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that merchandise is received, organized, and displayed effectively to meet customer needs.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a variety of essential tasks designed to maintain an organized and welcoming store environment. You will unload freight, organize warehouse inventory, and manage warehouse inventory, and stock shelves with merchandise. Additionally, you will build attractive merchandise displays and assist with inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Customer service is a key component of this role. You will help customers load heavy merchandise, bulky items such as feed or equipment, providing assistance with equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized store and stockroom is also a priority, ensuring both the sales floor and stockroom are safe and efficient spaces.
Overnight Opportunities
For those interested in overnight shifts, the focus is on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day's business day. This position typically pays $14–$18 per hour, and overnight shifts may include an additional $1–$3 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
