About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring that products arrive safely and are placed correctly for our team and shoppers. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and organization that Ace Hardware is known for.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. A key part of the role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure the sales floor is attractive and accessible. You will also perform inventory counts and keep both the warehouse and sales floor organized and floor tidy and efficient.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next day. This involves extensive stocking and organizational work to ensure the store opens ready for business. The role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important.
