About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping the store organized and ready for customers. This position is responsible for the flow of goods from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring that inventory is accurately received, stored, and displayed.
Day in the Life
As a Receiver/Stocker, you will handle the physical aspects of inventory management. This includes receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing stockrooms. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, building product displays, and performing inventory counts. The role requires keeping both the warehouse and sales floor organized and accessible.
Overnight shifts focus on large shipments, extensive stocking, and preparing the store for opening the next day. The position may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment such as pallet jacks.
