About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our retail operations: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical activity, organization, and working behind the scenes to support the team. Whether you are processing large overnight shipments or maintaining the store during the day, your efforts ensure that customers have access to the products they need.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks essential to store operations. This includes receiving and unloading incoming shipments, organizing inventory in the stockroom, and out of the stockroom, and stocking shelves with new merchandise. You will also be responsible for building product displays, performing inventory counts, and keeping both in the stockroom and on the sales floor.

Attention to detail is key, as you will be performing inventory counts and ensuring the warehouse and sales floor remain organized and safe. The position may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and may involve lifting heavy items as part of daily duties.

Overnight Shifts

For those interested in overnight work, shifts focus on large shipments, extensive stocking tasks and preparing the store for the next day. Overnight shifts may include an additional pay differential depending on location.

Compensation and Benefits

This position typically pays $16–$20 per hour. Overnight stocking shifts may include an additional $1–$2 per hour overnight pay differential depending on location.
