About the Role

Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in maintaining the operational backbone of our retail environment. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the critical flow of goods from delivery to display, ensuring that our shelves are stocked and our customers have access to the products they need. This position is essential for keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized, by extension, the sales floor running smoothly and efficiently.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational precision. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, which may include unloading trucks and organizing inventory within the stockroom. A key part of your role involves stocking shelves and building product displays to ensure an inviting and well-organized shopping experience. You will also perform inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.

For those working overnight shifts, the focus shifts to handling large shipments and preparing the store for the next day. This involves intensive stocking and organizational tasks to ensure the store is ready for opening hours. The role may require lifting heavy items and operating equipment and operating pallet jacks, so physical stamina and attention to safety are important aspects of the job.
