About the Role
As a Receiver/Stocker at Tractor Supply Co., you play a vital role in keeping our stores running smoothly and ensuring our customers have access to the products they need. You will be responsible for unloading freight, organizing warehouse inventory, and stocking shelves to maintain a well-organized store and stockroom. Your efforts directly support the customer experience by ensuring merchandise is available and ready for purchase.
Day in the Life
Your day involves a mix of physical activity and customer interaction. You will unload freight and organize inventory, ensuring that stock is properly stored and accessible. A key part of your role is assisting customers with loading heavy merchandise, such as feed or equipment, providing hands-on support to ensure their needs are met safely and efficiently. You will also build merchandise displays and assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Overnight Stocking
For those interested in overnight shifts, the focus is on stocking, organizing inventory, and preparing the store for the next day. This role allows you to work in a quieter environment while ensuring the store is fully stocked and ready for morning operations. Overnight shifts may include an additional pay differential depending on the location.
