About the Role
Ace Hardware Stockers and Receivers play a vital role in keeping our stores organized and ready for customers. As a Receiver/Stocker, you are responsible for the backbone of our retail operations: receiving shipments, unloading trucks, and organizing inventory, and ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of service and product availability that our customers expect.
Day in the Life
Your day will involve a mix of physical activity and organizational tasks. You will receive shipments, unload trucks, and organize inventory in the stockroom. You will also stock shelves, build product displays, and perform inventory counts. Keeping the warehouse and sales floor organized is floor organized is a key part of your responsibility.
For those working overnight shifts, the focus is on large shipments, stocking, and preparing the store for opening. This role may require lifting heavy items and operating pallet jacks.
