About the Role

As a Receiver in our Warehouse department, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory before it moves to manufacturing or distribution. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of operations in a fast-paced, niche marketplace.

In this position, you will verify incoming shipments and documentation, process COD shipments, and investigate any discrepancies. You will be responsible for physically transferring goods from receiving to the next appropriate step in the inventory or manufacturing process, adhering to FIFO methodology. Your attention to detail will ensure that all like items are stored together and that urgent materials are delivered immediately to Quality or Production departments.

The work environment involves a manufacturing setting where you may encounter chemicals, machinery, dust, and noise. Protective clothing and equipment may be required to ensure safety while performing duties such as loading and unloading trucks and handling materials.
