About the Role
We are seeking Radiology professionals to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams to uphold strict safety and compliance standards. This position offers opportunities similar to our Travel Nurse roles, providing competitive pay and flexible scheduling.\n You will be an integral part of the care continuum, working alongside radiologists, technologists, and anesthesiology to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality outcomes. From comprehensive pre-procedure assessments to managing moderate sedation and responding to emergencies, your work will directly impact patient safety and experience. You will also play a key role in quality improvement initiatives and protocol updates, contributing to the continuous evolution of radiology nursing practices.

- check_circleEstablish IV access and administer medications and contrast agents safely
- check_circleProvide nursing care before, during, and after radiology and interventional procedures
- check_circleAssist radiologists and technologists by ensuring equipment and emergency supplies are available
- check_circleMonitor patients receiving moderate sedation and document vital signs and sedation levels
- check_circleAdhere strictly to radiation safety principles and infection prevention protocols
- check_circleCoordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- check_circleRecognize and respond to emergencies following ACLS/BLS protocols
- check_circleDocument all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR
- check_circleEducate patients and families about procedures, preparation, and discharge instructions
- check_circleParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs
- check_circlePerform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments including history, allergies, and lab reviews
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in applicable state(s)
- verifiedAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred)
- verifiedCertification in Radiology Nursing (CRN) preferred
- verifiedExperience with radiation safety and contrast administration competencies
