Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) Cancer Care represents a system of oncology services distributed across Western Washington, including 10 hospitals. We provide fully integrated cancer care supported by Hematologist/Oncologists, Surgeons, Pulmonologists, Radiologists, Pathologists, and Primary Care. Our cancer programs are accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.
The VMFH Radiation Oncology service features multidisciplinary patient clinics, site-specific prospective tumor boards, and active participation in NCI and industry-sponsored clinical trials. Our locations include the specialty site at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, along with community-based locations at St. Anne's Hospital in Burien, St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, and St. Michael's Medical Center in Silverdale, WA.
VMFH system-wide Radiation Oncology offers advanced capabilities including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT/VMAT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), Low Dose Rate brachytherapy, High Dose Rate brachytherapy, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRS/SBRT).
Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle is recruiting a Board Certified/Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in GU, CNS, and lung cancers, experience with HDR brachytherapy (GYN and prostate), and radiosurgery experience, while remaining comfortable treating all disease sites. This role requires the capability to work across multiple locations, including Seattle, Burien, and Federal Way.
