The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) is a vital member of our clinical team, providing essential care for patients undergoing procedures that utilize ionizing radiation for screening, diagnostics, and interventional guidance. In this role, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images while strictly adhering to ALARA standards to minimize patient radiation dose. Your work involves setting appropriate technical factors, managing inventory, and coordinating patient scheduling.
You will serve as a key liaison between the imaging suite and physicians, relaying images along with pertinent clinical information for interpretation. The position requires flexibility, including taking on-call shifts to provide high-volume coverage during after-hours.
