Python Go Backend Engineer (LATAM)
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join a growth-stage company in a pivotal role. You will be responsible for developing the core infrastructure and systems that power a unique, innovative platform. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a fast-paced environment and influence the overall direction and product vision.

Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems using modern languages, including Python, Go, Rust, and WebAssembly.
- Utilize cloud services such as AWS Amplify, Lightsail, and Fargate to construct a robust and secure infrastructure.
- Manage and work with both relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB and vector databases).
- Collaborate closely with the foundational engineering team to deliver high-impact features.
- Contribute to and influence the strategic direction and product vision of the platform.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of full-time, post-graduate software engineering experience.
- Programming Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Python and Go.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with AWS services, specifically Amplify, Lightsail, and Fargate, as well as the implementation of Access Control Lists (ACL).
- Database Knowledge: Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Vector Databases.
- Adaptability: Ability to move quickly, respond rapidly, and adjust to changing project needs. Note: You will not be responsible for more than two codebases concurrently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
