Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice built to combine the stability of a hospital practice with the clinical autonomy of private practice.
About the Role
This role is designed for psychiatrists who want predictable, W-2 compensation and benefits, fully remote outpatient psychiatry. The position offers flexible scheduling, control over session structure, and minimal administrative burden. You will have clinical autonomy without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume.
Day-to-Day Practice
The practice is 100% remote, outpatient psychiatry. You will work with lower to moderate acuity populations, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, OCD, and PTSD. The patient population spans the lifespan: children & adolescents (treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients.
Standard session lengths include 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups. There is no inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization care or crisis coverage. You will have access to an in-house referral network to therapists and full operational support, including scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing.
Clinical Autonomy & Flexibility
You will have control over your schedule and weekly availability. You will have session length within established clinical standards. You will have patient population, balanced to individual criteria and preferences. You will have clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume.

What We're Looking For
Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists (MD/DO). Active, unrestricted medical license (multi-state licensing support available). Interest in outpatient, 100% telepsychiatry-based care. Comfort with learning streamlined clinical. Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and collaborative mindset.
Full-time and part-time W-2 employment
Total annual on-target earnings of $300k - $350k +, consisting of: Base salary. Monthly productivity incentive (guaranteed during initial 6-month onboarding period.
