This Project Engineer position is based at Grand Forks Air Force Base in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The role serves as a critical liaison between the government and construction teams, overseeing the full lifecycle of federal construction projects from initial planning through execution and closeout. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring that project milestones are met while maintaining strict compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
The position requires a high level of technical competence to review contractor plans, technical submittals, and safety programs. You will be responsible for monitoring construction progress, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies to prevent delays. Additionally, you will guide team members, assist in contract negotiations, and prepare detailed reports and payment estimates for government customers.
