This role offers a unique chance to work side-by-side with a federal government client, specifically supporting the Department of the Navy (DoN). You will serve as a Program Financial Acquisition Analyst, focusing on the routine analysis, assessment, and buildout of Navy program finance to meet quarterly and fiscal year requirements. The position is centered within the Supply, Support, and Acquisition sectors, where you will navigate strict policies and regulations governing DoN yearly budgets.
Located in Washington, D.C., this position is designed for a financial analyst who can quickly adapt to the client's environment. You will play a key role in developing your financial management skillset within the federal government accounting sphere, specifically within the Navy. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of Navy financial planning, obligation and expenditure tracking, and the financial drills associated with meeting benchmarks. You will engage with the NAVSEA enterprise planning system, various contract types, and the Budget Financial Management (BFM) to ensure the timely execution of funds.

Experience supporting a Navy Systems Command or Program Management Office. Experience with Navy financial systems such as PBIS, Navy ERP, NAVSEA EDC, NAVSEA NEPS, or NAVSEA COBRA. Experience developing spend plans. Knowledge of Navy financial processes and requirements development. Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
