As a Production/Application Support Engineer, you will serve as the critical link between the Market Risk business units and the technical infrastructure that powers them. This role exists to ensure the stability, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data feeds and batch processing operations. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving business queries, managing alerts, and coordinating incident responses within a high-stakes environment.
In this hybrid position based in Plano, TX, your day-to-day involves managing the user query mailbox, monitoring system health using tools like ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk, and driving incident management protocols. You will not only resolve immediate issues but also identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, reducing operational overhead. The role requires close collaboration with development teams to coordinate resolutions and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge bases.
Candidates for this 6-month engagement will be evaluated based on their extensive background in production support and their ability to navigate complex financial systems. The selection process focuses on verifying technical proficiency in SQL, UNIX/Linux, and specific monitoring frameworks, alongside strong communication skills necessary for multi-regional team collaboration.
