About the Role

We are searching for a Principal Product Security Engineer to join the newly formed Product Security team at Abiomed, a Johnson & Johnson company. This role is designed for those passionate about security and interested in joining a community of collaborative colleagues working in a Patient First! culture.

In this position, you will ensure security is implemented by design for a top-performing medical device company. You will own the Product Security process, encompassing both pre-market and post-market phases that engineering teams leverage throughout the product development lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to impact development initiatives that will shape future product development and industry standards. You will act as a subject matter expert on cyber security matters, providing guidance to development teams and advocating for the proactive inclusion of security input into all phases of the product life cycle, strategic road map planning, and process improvements.

Work Environment

This role is based in Danvers, MA or Raritan, NJ. Candidates within commutable distance to the site are expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days per week. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company.
