The Principal Engineer, EMC serves as a senior individual contributor and subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and design guidance across new product development and sustaining programs. This role is critical for ensuring products meet global EMC and safety requirements, acting as the primary authority on electromagnetic compatibility principles, testing methodologies, and mitigation techniques.
You will partner closely with hardware, software, systems, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to influence product design decisions and resolve complex technical challenges. While this position does not carry direct people management responsibility, you will lead through expertise, collaboration, and technical influence, mentoring engineers and cross-functional teams on EMC design best practices and lessons learned.
This is an onsite position based at our Irvine, CA office, where you will drive technical problem-solving for complex compliance issues that may impact project timelines or regulatory approvals.

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related technical discipline.
