Raytheon's Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) strategic business unit specializes in multi-domain integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics, effectors, and cyber solutions. Within ASDS, the Space Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Sub-SBU delivers information superiority from space, multi-mission automation, resilient operations, and secure data management. The team focuses on program execution, business growth, and the highest level of customer satisfaction.

About the Role

This onsite position in Aurora, CO, offers the opportunity to design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for satellite ground systems. You will work within an Agile environment alongside talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders to solve tough, meaningful problems. This role is designed for those inspired to push the boundaries of known science and connect and protect our world through advanced technology.

What You Will Learn

In this role, you will gain a breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques, including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design. You will also master modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques, as well as satellite ground system technologies such as command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
