Secret Service Police carry out critical assignments in protection, serving as the frontline defense for the nation's most vital assets. You will provide protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. Your duties also include traveling to support Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions, enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.
This position must be performed in Washington, DC, so relocation to Washington, DC will be required. Applicants may be eligible for a $75,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. Click apply to view full details and eligibility of this recruitment incentive.
Selected candidates will complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA or Artesia, NM, followed by 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.
