As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a pilot and law enforcement officer, performing aviation-based operations to secure the nation's borders. This is a unique career path that blends high-performance aviation with federal law enforcement duties. You will conduct air patrols, surveillance, and pursuit activities targeting smuggled contraband via land, air, or sea. Your day-to-day involves monitoring suspect behavior, analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.

The selection process for Air Interdiction Agents is rigorous and multi-phased. Candidates must successfully complete a three-part assessment to determine their suitability for the role and subsequent duty location. Upon successful completion of this assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements within the selected region (Southeast, Southwest, CAMB, or NASOC UAS locations).
