As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA), you will serve as a critical asset in aviation-based law enforcement operations. This role is designed for experienced pilots seeking an exciting and rewarding career with exceptional federal benefits and job stability. You will perform air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities to interdict smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring suspect behavior patterns, collecting and analyzing strategic intelligence, and supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
AMO is actively recruiting for these full-time security-based opportunities. We are particularly interested in seasoned pilots and those with military training. The role offers a streamlined application process and the chance to work in diverse environments, from the Southeast and Southwest borders to the Caribbean and National Air Security Operation Centers (NASOC).
The recruitment process for Air Interdiction Agents involves a three-part assessment. Once you successfully complete this assessment, a duty location will be offered based on operational and mission requirements. You must be willing to work at any duty location within the region you select, which may include the Southeast Region, Southwest Region, Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB), or NASOC Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) locations.
