The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist to join a dynamic academic team. Whether you are newly fellowship-trained or a seasoned clinician, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive in one of the nation's most rapidly evolving academic medical centers.
Our division is embedded within a forward-thinking OB/GYN department that values both individual contributions and team success. We are affiliated with Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix, a state-of-the-art academic hospital providing the perfect setting for high-risk pregnancy care, advanced diagnostics, and cutting-edge research. We believe in fostering career growth at every stage: early-career physicians will find robust mentorship and access to world-class resources, while mid- and senior-level professionals can look forward to leadership development and opportunities to shape the next generation of physicians through teaching and curriculum design.
You will join a collaborative team passionate about academic excellence, clinical innovation, and compassionate care. Our faculty are experts in their fields who are supportive, collegial, and eager to collaborate, valuing diverse perspectives and the cross-pollination of ideas that leads to meaningful innovation.
This position invites you to practice at a leading-edge facility where you will establish a clinical practice, provide residency and fellowship teaching in outpatient and inpatient areas, and build specialized programs in MFM and obstetrics. You will serve as a strong advocate for balancing clinical, academic, and educational missions while initiating and contributing to clinical and research programs through interdisciplinary collaboration.
The role emphasizes a collaborative culture where you will work alongside colleagues to inspire and promote collaborations across the health system. You will have the opportunity to inspire medical students, OB/GYN residents, and MFM fellows in a highly interactive educational setting, helping to shape a training program that is as engaging as it is rigorous. We value flexibility, mutual support, and having fun both inside and outside of work to ensure a fulfilling career.
