This Doctor of Medicine | Hospitalist position offers a stable and secure employed role within a leading hospital organization in Norfolk, VA. The role is designed for physicians who prefer a focused clinical environment without procedural responsibilities, as intensivists cover the ICU. You will manage reasonable admissions within an excellent team environment, utilizing the Epic EMR system.
The Role and Environment
The position features a nocturnist schedule with a 7-on/7-off block rotation, working from 7 pm to 7 am. This schedule provides significant time off while maintaining a consistent rhythm. The hospital is located in a popular community close to Virginia Beach, offering a convenient lifestyle with easy access to major cities like Washington, D.C., and Raleigh, North Carolina (approximately 3 hours away).
