Our Maternal Fetal Medicine group is a well-established and busy physician and midwife women's health team located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We consist of 9 OB/GYN physicians, 18 CNMs, 6 MFM specialists, 1 Urogynecologist, and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists. Our practices are strategically located near the hospitals from which we practice, serving Tacoma and surrounding communities with evidence-based women's healthcare services.
We are part of a rapidly growing region where the Puget Sound communities offer award-winning arts, cultural, and sporting events. Our main support offices are in Tacoma, with clinics and hospitals in King, Kitsap, and Pierce counties. Here, we enjoy mild weather and stunning views of Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains.
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled PRN Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join our esteemed team in Tacoma, WA. This role is designed to assist predominantly with outpatient clinic duties and some call duties, which are primarily taken from home. Providers in this group typically deliver 0-4 babies per month.
You will work within a supportive environment featuring MA's and nurses to assist with diabetic education, as well as fully trained MFM sonographers. Procedures include cerclages and amniocentesis, with CVS and fetal echocardiogram being optional. Our group also has GYN/ONC and UroGyn support readily available.
You will partner with St. Joseph Hospital, a 375-bed, Level II Trauma Center in Tacoma. The hospital features 24/7 in-house Laborist and Anesthesia coverage, a Level III NICU capable of caring for infants as young as 22 weeks, and a partnership with Seattle Children's for specialty newborn care. St. Joe's has achieved Baby Friendly designation and recognition by the International Lactation Consultant Association for excellence in lactation care.
