About the Team
Our Hospitalist Admitting Service is a strong, collegial team of 20 full-time hospitalists supported by NP staff. We are dedicated to providing top-quality care in a collaborative environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential. Our service operates within a 140-bed facility featuring a closed ICU, with two admitting services scheduled daily, seven days a week. We are supported by specialty teams and 24/7 intensivist coverage to ensure comprehensive patient care.
About the Role
As a Hospitalist on the Admitting Service, you will focus on building meaningful connections with patients while delivering exceptional medical care. Your day will involve managing emergency department admissions, consults, and direct admissions. You will also collaborate with our One Call/Hospital Supervisor team to coordinate transfers from outlying facilities. This role is designed for those who prioritize patient interaction and do not require procedural duties.

We are located in Fargo, North Dakota, a centrally positioned city on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, just 3.5 hours west of Minneapolis/St. Paul. The Fargo-Moorhead area serves a population of over 200,000 and offers a high quality of life characterized by affordable living, excellent schools, and diverse recreational opportunities. Our regional service area encompasses 25 clinics and 5 hospitals, providing a robust network for patient care.
