Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (P.A.) looking to make a meaningful contribution to the healthcare of government personnel. This role offers an outstanding opportunity for providers looking to complement their current practice, pivot from traditional clinic overload, or embrace more predictable, stress-reduced patient encounters.
The position focuses on performing comprehensive history and physical (H&P) exams on military personnel while emphasizing accurate documentation. Extended 60-minute appointments allow for thorough chart reviews and physical examinations without the burden of acute or chronic disease management. This means no ordering of labs, medications, or diagnostics, and no follow-up visits are required.
Work Environment and Flexibility
This role is designed to provide zero clinical overload and ample office time for charting. Providers enjoy the flexibility to make their own schedule, with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per month. There is no call requirement, allowing for a balanced professional life.
Providers who have access to their own exam room are highly preferred. We are also open to leasing office space for those who do not currently have one. The work is conducted in a single-visit format for insurance companies, ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow.
