The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care to patients upon physician referral, ensuring all services align with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This role is designed for professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality post-acute care, with new graduates explicitly welcomed to apply.
In this position, you will establish, assess, and modify realistic, measurable, and functional treatment goals for patients. You will serve as a liaison to patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs, while also overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students. Success in this role requires the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant, maintain professional working relationships with all associates and vendors, and demonstrate integrity by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) and hold a current, active state license in good standing. CPR certification is required upon hire or during orientation. While one year of experience is preferred, it is not a barrier to entry for qualified new graduates.
