As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving the patient's well-being. You will work within the established plan of care, following state-specific laws and the directives of the supervising Physical Therapist. Your day involves instructing patients in active and passive exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, and functional activities, while observing and reporting patient responses to the care team. You will function in any home situation, adapting to the unique needs of clients regardless of their background or financial condition.
